For the Father
Some fathers have read "Wild At Heart" and hear the message, that they have needed to be a fierce warrior fighting for the hearts of their sons and daughters. Yet, looking back over the years they see how they've failed their children.
It is never too late to fight for your child's heart and rarely too late to actually win your child's heart back to your love. Outdoor Family Challenges are events of high intensity that open opportunities for a father and son, or a father and daughter to restore their relationship. The challenges are for fathers with children that are graduating from high school or from college.
Too often dads feel it is too late; that there are too many regretts, too much "water under the bridge". However, the summer after graduation is an excellent time of transition that can be taken advantage of. Graduating kids really do want their father's to launch them with a blessing. Challenges provide an opportunity for kids to forgive their dads for dads' mistakes and for dads to have an opportunity to build a bridge to their child's heart with a blessing and launch into life's flight.
