Husband / Wife Challenge

COMING SUMMER 2007

The husband/wife challenge is about reclaiming the hearts of the man, the woman, and their marriage. Many people believe their marital conlicts occur because the "other" one is the problem. Unfortunately, seldom are the problems only the "other" one's. When each person in the marriage has the courage to look at their contributions, then God can begin to touch the marriage. God is in the business of redemption; He authentically and realistically redeems. God does make ugly things beautifull and broken things whole. Most people quit and give up working at their because they've had little help and coaching through the rough waters; they most often just stay in their own isolated areas only to come out once in a while to fight and prove their point.

The Husband/Wife Challenge is about putting on the table the hard feelings that have been buried by busyness and life's diversions. Using a base camp setting, the couple engage in various challenges, the wilderness naturally provides, so the couple engage more authentically with one another's truths. This then leads closer to intimacy. This Challenge helps a couple get authentic about what the walls between them really are made of, and are coached over the walls to the other side where forgiveness and healing flourish.
